How to Prep + Post Care
PRE TAN…

Please DO NOT shower within 4 hours of your appointment/use of mousse
as this may open up your pores and this may result in an undesired result.

Please do you not shave any part of your body 12 hours or less prior to
your tanning appointment/use of mousse.

Shower and shave the night before. (don’t use shaving cream, but conditioner instead)

Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate!
(Do this in the shower with an exfoliating mitt and dry exfoliate with your towel when you get out)

Stay away from oils-based scrubs and body washes.

No dove or other bar soaps!

Don’t put lotion or oils on after your shower.
MORNING OF…

Don’t put on deodorant or perfume.

Remove all makeup before tan appointment/use of mousse

Please wear or bring loose clothing - Wearing loose clothing after application is a must!

All fitted pants (ex: yoga pants) will remove the tan from your legs.

Wear flip flops to prevent streaks on your feet.
-
During a spray tan, you can wear whatever a swimsuit, underwear, or nothing at all - however you’re comfy!
-
Don’t put a bra or sports bra on after your tan.
POST TAN…

If you have chosen the regular developing solution (Signature Spray Tan, 8 hour Mousse) wait 8-12 hours to rinse off.
It is fine to leave the solution on overnight and rinse in the morning

If you have chosen the rapid solution (Express Spray Tan, Express Mousse), it is extremely important that you rinse at the time we have recommended for you! (typically 2-4 hours after solution is applied)
1 hour = Light
2-3 hour = Medium
4 = Dark
** If using the Express Mousse and want ultra dark results up to 8 hours **
Your first rinse should be brief making sure you gently, but thoroughly rinse the cosmetic bronzer off of your skin using your hands only. You will see color coming off during your first rinse… this is normal, you want all that cosmetic bronzer to come off in that first rinse. DO NOT use any soap or shampoo in that first rinse!!!
